Create and Build a JCL Application

These are the steps to create a project comprising all the parts of your application, such as the COBOL source and the JCL batch files. We build the demonstration application in the IDE, deploy and run it on an Enterprise Server configured to run JCL applications and debug it dynamically.

  1. Create a project
  2. Import the files from the demonstration program
  3. Specify project properties
  4. Build the application
  5. Associate your project with the JCL Enterprise Server
  6. Start your Enterprise Server
  7. Deploy to Enterprise Server
