We supply a number of demonstration programs to help you better understand some of the concepts involved when working with COBOL projects in Eclipse.
Windows: You use the Samples Browser tool to access the available samples. For instructions on accessing the Samples Browser, see To start the Samples Browser.
The demonstration programs are installed in subfolders under %PUBLIC%\Documents\Micro Focus\Enterprise Developer\Samples by default.
UNIX: The sample programs are contained in a .jar file that you import into your Eclipse workspace. There are also several demonstrations that we supply that contain a makefile or scripts to enable compilation from a command line.
